Peter Berling,
20 March 1934 – 21 November 2017



Actor, film producer and author, Peter Berling wrote the novel Die Kinder des Gral (“The Children of The Grail”) that was first published in Germany (Bastei Lübbe, 1991), forming part of a pentalogy involving the Bloodline of Jesus Christ and the Priory of Sion.

The other novels were Das Blut der Könige (“Blood of Kings”, 1993), Die Krone der Welt (“The Crown of The World”, 1995), Der Schwarze Kelch (“The Black Chalice”, 1997) and Der Kelim der Prinzessin (“The Kelim of The Princess”, 2005).

The novels were translated into French and Spanish.

Peter Berling played the role of Jean d'Anneaux in the film The Name of The Rose (Constantin Film/20th Century Fox, 1986); and the role of a beggar in the film The Last Temptation of Christ (Universal Pictures, 1988).
