No Historical Evidence
For Mary Magdalene

15 October 2025

We still haven’t got any historical evidence for the existence of Mary Magdalene, whereby her theological status within original Christianity depicted sin transformed into the sacred virtue of sexual chastity (which is what Christianity is all about). That’s how Mary Magdalene was worshipped long before the actions of Pope Gregory the Great. Mary Magdalene is first mentioned in the Canonical Gospels in the Second Century CE, not in the earliest Christian writings of the first century.

The depiction of Mary Magdalene within Dualist Gnosticism:

“Simon Peter said to him, “Let Mary leave us, for women are not worthy of life.” Jesus said, “I myself shall lead her in order to make her male, so that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males. For every woman who will make herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven.”
