Christiane Amiel wrote a scholarly article in 2008 about the Rennes-le-Château “treasure nonsense” that has lasted for the past 70 years, in an article found [here].

Unfortunately, Christiane Amiel cited the account by René Descadeillas in his book Mythologie du Trésor where he mentioned “reliable and trustworthy testimony” about Abbé Saunière's “discovery” of a pot of valuable objects and also parchments. René Descadeillas did not see these things with his eyes nor did he touch them with his hands. Therefore this can only be counted as yet another Apocryphal Account. It cannot be described as evidence.

Christiane Amiel is therefore as bad as the believers.
