Blanche de Castille Debunked

The recently discovered article in Benjamin, N° 183, 3 June 1956 entitled “Qui trouvera le trésor de Blanche de Castille?” was only more of the same formulated popular nonsense as published in newspapers and journals of the 1950s and 1960s – and which Patrick Mensior devotedly treasures on his website. Nothing to get over-excited about – because this was part of Noël Corbu’s poor third-rate storytelling without any historical justification for backup! It is material strictly for the “uncritical Rennie” (as they like to call themselves).

For the debunking of Queen Blanche of Castile and Rennes-le-Château, see Putnam and Wood, Page 81; 2003 & 2005. It is evident that Noël Corbu did not read his French history properly (or thought that nobody would double-check his claims).

There was no “inheritance” for Marie Denarnaud to collect, as this has been repeated so often. Nor did Marie Denarnaud make any claims about the wealth generated by Abbé Bérenger Saunière – because this was testified by those people who knew her.

There will be dozens more examples of newspaper accounts discovered, and many more repetitions of the same old rubbish as spread by Noël Corbu! And many more people excited because they refuse to accept the sober provable facts!

Like I have said before, the addiction to the myth of the Treasure of Rennes-le-Château will endure until the natural end of Planet Earth!
