Paul Saussez “The mechanics of a great mystification.”
The “mystery” of Rennes-le-Château rests entirely on a great mystification. Gérard de Sède, Pierre Plantard and Philippe de Chérisey deceived the world for nearly sixty years. This is the most monumental, successful and tenacious “fake news” ever invented in French literature.
This mystification has as a starting point – the epitaph of Marie de Nègre d’Ables – where a secret message is hidden that only an unbelievable decoding process would allow to decipher.
I analyze this decoding process in detail, as Philippe de Chérisey explained in “Pierre et Papier” (Stone and Paper), to conclude that he could not have been the author of this decoding.
On the contrary, this is the work of a prominent crypto analyst whose identity I reveal. The person was hired by de Sède, Plantard and de Chérisey since 1962, at the very beginning of their collaboration.
Also, the decoding according to de Chérisey is not the one this crypto analyst created...

“Le «mystère» de Rennes-le-Château repose entièrement sur une formidable mystification. Gérard de Sède, Pierre Plantard et Philippe de Chérisey ont trompé le monde pendant près de soixante ans. C’est la plus monumentale, la plus réussie et la plus tenace «fake news» jamais inventée en littérature française.
Cette mystification a comme point de départ l’épitaphe de Marie de Nègre où serait caché un message secret qu’un invraisemblable processus de décodage permettrait de déchiffrer.
J’analyse en détail ce processus de décodage tel que Philippe de Chérisey l’a expliqué dans “Pierre et Papier”, pour conclure qu’il n’a pas pu être l’auteur de ce décodage.
Au contraire, c’est l’oeuvre d’un éminent cryptanalyste dont je révèle l’identité. Il a été engagé par de Sède, Plantard et de Chérisey dès 1962, au tout début de leur collaboration. En outre, le décodage selon de Chérisey n'est pas celui que ce cryptanalyste a créé...
