Writing Seriously About Rubbish In 2,893 Words...
2 May 2026
Another pseudo-article found on the Patrick Mensior website.
I wrote this on 12 September 2015. There is nothing else worthwhile to say about Emma Calvé and Rennes-le-Château. Unless of course, you happen to be a very boring person who likes to talk seriously about nonsense.
I also wrote this.
Where I linked this.
There isn't anything else worth knowing about the Emma Calvé and Bérenger Saunière connection – except of course to catalogue all the useless accretions. Like the 2,893 words found on Mensior’s website.
Philippe de Chérisey was active in the Rennes-le-Château area during the early 1960s and his ramblings could have been picked up by others before eventually finding its way to Robert Charroux.
I doubt that Charroux had the mental capacity to pick up the name on the Calvary on Rennes-les-Bains and to link it with the Opera Singer. He was too sane – only Philippe de Chérisey was mad enough to have done anything like that.
If anything, the article on Patrick Mensior's website just shows how certain “heavy minds” operate...
Or, to put it another way, will the believers in the Rennes-le-Château “treasure” ever realise that it’s just a load of made-up rubbish? Some people can’t help but to ridicule everything about Rennes-le-Château except the rubbish about the treasure!
