“Isaac Ben Jacob”, Rennes-le-Château: The Gold of the Dead and The True Priory of Sion by “Isaac Ben Jacob” (Éditions L'Harmattan, 2026)

English Translation:

But we have not yet crossed the threshold of the forbidden sanctuary. We have not yet penetrated the most secret mysteries, into the documentary depths that reveal, with astonishing precision, the concrete extent of the magical practices carried out within the sacred perimeter of Rennes-le-Château. We have not yet unearthed the bureaucratic grimoires – records of nocturnal exhumations, encoded parish registers, parish registers, Episcopal sentences barely concealing their complicity, notarial deeds for the trade in corpses – which attest, in black and white, that the Chaldean Cult of the Dead was not an archaic survival but an active and organised liturgy, an ancient and barbaric mystery barbaric mystery perpetuated without interruption in the Aude Razès region between the 13th and the 20th centuries. That is precisely what we are going to do now. We cross the threshold of the underground church. We enter the temple of the mysteries, where the priests of Marduk, disguised as Catholic monks, have perpetuated the age-old rituals of Babylon for seven centuries. We enter the archives of the monasteries of Limoux and Prouilhe, the records of the Inquisition, the wills of the local nobility, the legal proceedings between the mendicant orders and the secular clergy over control of the remains and funeral “offerings” – that is to say, for the monopoly on trade with the dead. But before entering this ritual labyrinth, we must first establish a fundamental point, without which the whole of the rest of our investigation would remain incomprehensible: the establishment, from the 13th century onwards, of two religious orders – the Franciscans and the Dominicans – in the immediate vicinity of Rennes-le-Château, and the profoundly heretical nature of these two congregations. Because these orders did not come to the Razès to combat the Cult of the Dead: they came to establish it, to protect it, to organise it on a large scale under the protection of Rome itself.
