Rennes-le-Château Factory of Lies Part One

3 October 2026

The story connecting Abbé Antoine Gélis with the “mystery” of Rennes-le-Château is a modern fabrication. It first began in Gérard de Sède’s 1967 book, “L’Or de Rennes, ou la Vie Insolite de Bérenger Saunière.”

Some information about Gérard de Sède.

For example, it was not even hinted at by Noël Corbu and Robert Charroux during the early 1960s.

The Abbé Antoine Gélis “connection” does not predate the era of Pierre Plantard and Philippe de Chérisey.

Pierre Plantard may have died in 2000 and Philippe de Chérisey in 1985, but their deceits and lies continue forevermore. They are still as much of the staple diet to feed the hungry Rennes-le-Château addicts as ever.

The modern day hoaxers of 2026 are totally and completely without any shame.

The whole subject matter itself is dismissed as an example of amiable lunacy by professional archaeologists, DRAC and the French Ministry of Culture.
