The article has now gone up to 8,290 words (from its original 690 words, since gone up to 8,312) and yes, the MORE that some people write the more their ignorance is revealed!

For example, we do not find out the consensus of scholarly opinion about the Bible AND THEN find out why the writer’s opinions differ – but we only become directed to the fringe opinions of scholars like Cleta M. Flynn and Alice C. Linsley.

Another example, the phrase “Terribilis est locus iste” is a common phrase found above a church porch. This exists in priest's Church literature. Priests can only laugh at “The Rennies” and what they make out of it!

Here is a scan of a direct photocopy of the relevant page given to me by a Roman Catholic priest, in person, from outside his presbytery! The very first image!

The phrase “Terribilis est locus iste” is the Introit (opening prayer) for the Mass of the Dedication of a Church in the Catholic tradition. It translates to “Terrible is this place” or “Awe-inspiring is this place”. The full verse from Genesis 28:17 reads: “Terribilis est locus iste: hic domus Dei est, et porta cœli: et vocábitur aula Dei”, meaning “Terrible is this place: this is the house of God, and the gate of heaven; and it shall be called the court of God”. This verse sets the tone for the dedication Mass, emphasizing the sacredness and awe-inspiring nature of the church building as a dwelling place of God and a gateway to heaven.
