A recent online video entitled “What Archaeology Says About The Facts of Jesus' Tomb” kept repeating the word “Gospel” where Christian belief puts forward its dogma that Jesus Christ was the Son of God born of a virgin. How, therefore, could his body ever have been interred in a “familial tomb”? There follows the account of his Resurrection and Ascension into Heaven – there is no need for “rationalisation” by using sheer guesswork. These Christian “Historians” may be overlooking a completely sane interpretation and meaning of the myth.

Mark Goodacre, a Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins, seems to be one of the main culprits representing the current strand of (so-called) Christian Scholarship (of Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, United States).

Being a Professor of New Testament and Christian Origins without ever finding out what the Punchline to the Religion is, that’s quite something!
