“Isaac Ben Jacob” Using Formula Similar To Pierre Plantard

5 November 2026

Whereas Plantard used the motif of a “Rex Mundi” as the “Rightful Merovingian King of France” – “Isaac Ben Jacob” uses the idea of an “Archetypal Magical-Religious Power Source” called the “Crista” or “Talisman”. Whereas Plantard devised a “Grand Master List” – “Isaac Ben Jacob” uses names at random that were inheritors of the “Great Secret”, like for example Eugène Vintras and Abbé Joseph-Antoine Boullan (without mentioning any of the controversial aspects of Abbé Boullan’s practices!) – neither of whom belonged to the regular Roman Catholic Church but instead were leaders of fringe Cults claiming to possess magical powers and both were excommunicated and served time in prison.

Quoting “Isaac Ben Jacob”, seriously claiming that his book “traces a Cult of the Dead from ancient Babylon to the penitent confraternities of the Pyrenees” in a straight and continuous unbroken line – but the Confrérie de la Sanch was only founded in Perpignan in 1416 by a Dominican priest named Vincent Ferrier and they are described as a Penitent Brotherhood – not a “Cult of the Dead” dating from “Ancient Babylon and its Ziggurats”.

Some more comparisons:

Pierre Plantard was predominantly anti-Semitic while “Isaac Ben Jacob” is at least half-Jewish on his Mother’s side.

Pierre Plantard was predominantly Right Wing but “Isaac Ben Jacob” in favour of the Left Wing.

As for fake parchments, the closest that “Isaac Ben Jacob” has come to is this piece of nonsense, that seems to correspond with page 208 of his tome.

This, the briefest possible outline in its most rudimentary fashion, is what is contained in the book by “Isaac Ben Jacob” – that serves more as a reflection of his own personality than it does anything about the subject matter of Rennes-le-Château – and this explanation, in a nutshell, applies to all conspiracy theorists on the subject matter since the earliest days of Noël Corbu. Even a well-known romantic webmaster on this subject matter has been taken in by this whole scam.
